Open to all faiths
Candidates must believe in a Supreme Being. Men of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and other faith traditions are welcome.
Your first step
Visit the lodge, speak with current members and decide in your own time whether Webb Ellis Lodge shares your values and aspirations.
Who can join?
Freemasonry welcomes men from different cultures, backgrounds and faiths. You do not need to have played rugby.
Candidates must believe in a Supreme Being. Men of Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Sikh and other faith traditions are welcome.
Candidates must be of legal age and able to make their own decision about membership.
Honesty, responsibility and a sincere wish for personal growth matter more than status or business connections.
The decision must be yours alone, made freely and without pressure.
The membership journey
There is time to ask questions and get to know the lodge before any decision is made.
Contact the membership team, tell us a little about yourself and ask anything you would like to know.
Visit, get a feel for the fellowship and explore whether the lodge is right for you.
Prospective members submit an application, attend an interview and are considered by ballot.
Ready when you are
No rugby playing experience is required — enthusiasm for friendship, service and the game’s values is more important.

Please note: the external application form and current Provincial information open on the Northamptonshire and Huntingdonshire Freemasons website.

A warm welcome awaits
Build friendships. Give back. Enjoy the game — and be part of something historic.
